The awards ceremony of the 2023 Oceania Shaolin Games was held in Sydney on the evening of December 2. Deputy consul general Yu Jie of the Chinese Consulate General in Sydney, Minister-counselor Xiao Xiayong of the Chinese Embassy in Australia, abbot Yongxin of Shaolin Temple, Matt Klaus and Nathan Hagarty, senators of New South Wales, deputy mayor Guo Yaowen, former senator Shen Huixia, representatives of communities and overseas Chinese leaders as well as people of martial arts and media circles, totaling one thousand attended the event.
