Under the guidance of Shaolin Temple’ s master Yanpei, master Yanye and master Yanxuan as well as master Yanliang, secretary general of the Shaolin Federeation and the Austrian Shaolin Cultural Centre, Shaolin cultural delegation recently got to many European countries for visit and exchange and carrying forward Chan Wu Yi culture, which was extensively appraised by people around the world.

Visiting the Břevnovský klášter

From 5: 30 to 7: 30 on the afternoon of May 21, 2024, invited by abbot Benedict of the Břevnovský klášter in Prague, the Czech Republic, master Yanpei, master Yanye, master Yanxuan, master Yanliang as well as the Slovak Shaolin Cultural Center’ s principal Marien, master Yanhe and others, got to the monastery to discuss and exchange religious cultures and share differences and similarities between Eastern and Western civilizations on the International Tea Day.

Visiting the Albanian Shaolin Cultural Center

From 5 to 7 o’ clock on the afternoon of May 23, the Shaolin cultural delegation visited the Albanian Shaolin Cultural Center, receiving principal Albert Kora and Shaolin disciples’ warm welcome. During the time, master Yanpei gave his lectures of Shaolin culture. Then master Yanxuan and master Yanye provided the Shaolin Thirteen Fist of the Shaolin Duanpin system training for students. 

Visiting the Chinese Embassy in Albania

At 10 o’ clock on the morning of May 24, the Shaolin cultural delegation got to the Chinese Embassy in Albania for visit and exchange, receiving a warm welcome from ambassador Pang Chunxue. During the time, master Yanpei explained the delegation’ s journey to Europe for exchange and visit as well as the development state of Shaolin culture in Europe, which was recognized by ambassador Pang. She praised the influence of Shaolin culture’ s promotion abroad, hoping to enhance communication and hold more activities to better carry forward Shaolin culture.

Directing the European instructor training and level evaluation efforts for the third European Shaolin Kungfu Duanpin system 2024

From May 25 to 26, the European instructor training courses and level evaluation efforts for the “Third European Shaolin Kungfu Duanpin System 2024”, were completed successfully. The first instructor training and students’ evaluation and certification efforts for the 2024 Shaolin Kungfu Duanpin system was successfully held in the Austrian Shaolin Cultural Center, Vienna. During the time, master Yanpei taught theories of the Shaolin Kungfu Duanpin system meanwhile master Yanxuan and master Yanye taught techniques. Master Yanliang expressed the Shaolin Kungfu Duanpin system could regulate enthusiasts’ cultivation or practice of Shaolin Kungfu and would often conduct similar training and study in future.

The Shaolin cultural delegation attends the Vesak Day assembly hosted by the Buddhist Association of Austria

From 4 to 6 o’ clock on the afternoon of May 26, the Buddhist Association of Austria held the Vesak Day assembly in front of the World Peace Tower on the Danube River in Vienna. The Shaolin delegation was invited to attend the event, together with monks from Sri Lanka, Thailand, Japan and Austria, praying for world peace and human happiness. During the time, the delegation also visited Japan’ s Miaofa Temple on the Danube River.

Visiting the Shaolin Cultural Center of Denmark

The Shaolin cultural delegation got to the Shaolin Cultural Center of Denmark for visit and exchange. On the morning, master Yanye and master Yanxuan, as the center’ s teachers, taught the content of evaluation for the Shaolin Duanpin system. That night, students and Shaolin culture enthusiasts totaling 160 gathered together, sharing abundant implication with the Shaolin cultural delegation at a close range.

Then master Yanpei explained the history, inheritance and development of Shaolin culture to people, hoping that healthy Shaolin lifestyle and Chan Wu Yi culture could bring people mental and physical health. He also expressed the Grand Monk Shi Yongxin’ s greet and wishes to welcome everyone to go to Shaolin Temple often, back to this big Shaolin family.

During the time, master Yanxuan and master Yanye explained inquires of evaluation for the Shaolin Thirteen Fist of the Shaolin Kungfu Duanpin system to people and also showed traditional Shaolin Kungfu.
