As the Year of Rabbit is coming, Shaolin Temple, the ancient monastery of Chan sect, held the year-end tea reception on the 28th day of the 12th lunar month or January 19, 2023.

The Dinning Hall of Shaolin Temple was lighted up at 7 o’ clock on the evening, with the tea feast set the table elegantly. Master Shi Yongxin, together with Shaolin monks and volunteers, joyfully gathered to have tea, ringing out the old year and ringing in the new year.

Abbot Yongxin delivered a speech, thanked everyone for the protection of the temple and actively took efforts to carry forward sublime dharma and benefit sentient beings over the past year. He hoped that people could widely make good affinity and continue good service for people and increase wisdom and good conduct.
