On January 14, 2023, following the entrustment of Abbot Shi Yongxin of Songshan Shaolin Temple, and on behalf of Red Mountain Shaolin Temple and Songshan Shaolin Temple, Master Yanqing led seven Shaolin disciples along with four parents of volunteers visited Hong Ning House and Hong Lok senior apartments in Phoenix, Arizona, to celebrate the Chinese New Year. The residents enjoyed the Kung Fu shows performed in front of them, including Jasmine Situ's Taizu Changquan, Nelson Situ's Meihua Dao, Peter Costa's Tong Bei Quan, Kathy Provance's Dharma Sword, and Evan Meng, Austin Fan, Bryan Fan's Shaolin Shi San Quan. 

After the performance, each household in the senior apartments were given a pair of Spring Festival couplets and window grilles as a gift from the temples. The senior citizens and the apartment management expressed their gratitude to Red Mountain Shaolin Temple and Songshan Shaolin Temple for their Kung Fu performance and kind wishes. On behalf of Red Mountain Shaolin Temple and Songshan Shaolin Temple, Master Yanqing and Shaolin disciples wished all senior citizens a healthy and Happy New Year!
