On February 10, 2013 (the first day of the lunar year), Austrian Shaolin Cultural Center held the solemn Spring Festival praying rite. Master Yanliang presided over the rite. More than one hundred people including local ethnic Chinese, the students from Austrian Shaolin Cultural Center and all circles in Austria attended the rite. Wang Xufei, vice chairman of Chinese Culture Association of UN inscribed on the scene to convey blessings.

The rite started in the solemn atmosphere. Master Yanliang led Master Yanpo, Master Yanxu and Master Yanji to preside over the rite. Everyone at the rite prayed for world peace, social harmony, family harmony and people’s happy life.

 

 

Experienced Chan meditation

 

After the rite, the students form Austrian Shaolin Cultural Center performed Shaolin Kungfu for the guests. During the experience lessons for Shaolin Kungfu, Qigong and Meditation, Master Yanliang introduced Shaolin culture and gave an instruction.

The activities on that day last from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, more than three hundred people were present. Everyone was attracted by the profound Shaolin culture and amazed at the splendid Shaolin Kungfu. They hoped to come to Shaolin Temple to visit and worship one day.
