Reported from the Los Angeles Post, a group led by the Great Monk Shi Yongxin, vice president of the Buddhist Association of China and abbot of China Songshan Shaolin Temple, finished the trip to Chicago for the World Conference on Religion and Peace and then arrived in Los Angeles on August 19. Abbot Shi Yongxin met around 300 Shaolin disciples from Northern Africa in the Shaolin Temple Cultural Center USA, Los Angeles on the morning of that day, receiving a warm welcome from all walks of life there. （By Richard Ren）
