Shaolin Cultural Delegation Invited to Visit South Korea

From Oct 9 to 13, 2024, sent by Shaolin Temple’ s abbot the Grand Monk Shi Yongxin, a Shaolin cultural delegation totaling 37 was led by Shaolin Temple’ s manager master Yanbin, monastic reception master Yanyang and the Kungfu monk corps’ master Yanchang, visited Ulsan, South Korea for cultural exchanges. The Buddhist cultural exchanges between China and Korea invited by the Ulsan government and the mayor was held to celebrate the 2024 Ulsan industrial festival.

On Oct 9, the Shaolin cultural delegation successively got to the Tongdu Temple, Baiyang Temple and Hainan Temple for Buddhist cultural exchanges. During the time, the delegation was warmly welcomed by the three temples’ abbots and Buddhists.

At the end of exchange activities, the Shaolin cultural delegation represented Shaolin Temple’ s abbot the Grand Monk Yongxin to sincerely invite the Ulsan government, three temples’ abbots and Buddhist circles in Ulsan, expecting them to Shaolin Temple for visit and cultural exchange.
