On May 26, 2024, the UK Shaolin Xiu Culture Centre solemnly held the Vesak Day or the Buddha’ s Birthday. The assembly was presided over by master Jingtong and master Jingde. The Grand Monk Ven.Thach Nguyen Tu, abbot of the Great Awakening Temple in California, the Grand Monk Ven. Kassapa of the Birmingham Maha Vihara and his disciples, Ven.Thach Neuan That of the Buddhist college of the Oxford University, Ven.Thach Neuan Qua and Ven. Neuan Chau of the Medicine Buddha Fund, as well as around 200 students of the cultural center, local people from all walks of life, overseas students and others attended the event.
