At 9 o’ clock on the morning of May 35, 2024, the “10th China Buddhist Medical Summit” was grandly launched at the Enlightenment Hall of Shaolin Temple. The summit took the “Shaolin Bone Injury and Modern Medicine” as the theme, by which the origin of Shaolin injury department and particular therapy combining with the application of modern medicine was deeply discussed to better inherit Shaolin bone injury culture.

The Grand Monk Shi Yongxin, abbot of China Songshan Shaolin Temple, and president of the Buddhist Association of China, Mr. Zhao Huayong, former head of the China Central Television, Ms Ma Li,  president of the China Association of Policy Science and former deputy editor in chief of the People’ s Daily, Sun Ruqi, chief of the first religious division of the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee of Henan Province, Mr. Zhang Yumin, deputy director of the Finance and Economy Committee and a first-level inspector of the Henan Provincial People’ s Congress Standing Committee, Mr. Yao Wang, advisor of the Boao Forum for Asia and the ZGC Group, Mr. Xie Shichang, former chief of the Chinese medicine division of the drug registration office of the State Administration for Food and Drag Regulation and doctoral supervisor of the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Mr. Lu Xiangzhi, senior advisor of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, master Yanwu, head of the Shaolin Pharmacy Bureau and other leaders and guests as well as believers of the ten directions attended the opening ceremony.
