October 1 is the 74th anniversary of the founding of the People’ s Republic of China. On the morning, Shaolin disciples gathered at the Gateway and held the solemn national flag raising ceremony to cerebrate the 74th anniversary of China’ s foundation.

Raising the national flag at the temple is an exact action that Buddhist circles cultivate and practice core values of socialism to help Buddhists and believers inspire their patriotic enthusiasm, cultivate patriotic sentiment and carry forward patriotism.
