Chinese New Year’ s eve was on January 21, 2023 local time. To celebrate it, the Shaolin Temple Cultural Center USA hosted the Lamp-offering prayer for new year blessings of security of countries and peoples and world peace.

Everyone chanted sutra, worshiped Buddha and devoutly prayed under the guidance of head Shi Yanxu of the center. 

At the end of the lamp-offering prayer, Shi Yanxu, together with all students of the Shaolin Temple Cultural Center USA, wished Shaolin Temple’ s abbot Shi Yongxin, Shaolin monks and peoples of the world whose body and mind are healthy and safe, wishes come true and auspiciousness accompanies.
