To Celebrate the coming Christmas, UK Shaolin Xiu Centre taking Shaolin culture and traditional Chinese culture as the objective, together with US Shaolin Xiu Center, Indonesia Shaolin Xiu Center, held celebrations being rich in content and varied in form, to integrate into the local mainstream society.

US Shaolin Xiu Center hosted the Christmas party and the 10th anniversary celebrations on December 7 at 3pm , attracting Shaolin culture lovers of all ethnic groups to visit. There were around 300 people attending the event. During this period, head of the US Shaolin Xiu Center Yanyu shared his experiences that he promoted Shaolin Kungfu in Huston 10 years ago.

On December 14 at 2pm, Indonesia Shaolin Xiu Center in Jakarta hosted Christmas celebrations. There were about one hundred students and parents attended the event. During the time, students performed Shaolin Kungfu, zither, violin and cello play, etc.

On December 14 from 4pm to 6pm, London based UK Shaolin Xiu Centre grandly hosted the Christmas celebrations. More than one hundred students and parents participated in the event. During the event, students showed Shaolin Kungfu, dance, poetry reading and other programs. Everyone tasted vegetarian food, experiencing Shaolin culture about vegetarian food together after the event.

Yanxiu, head of UK Shaolin Xiu Centre, said that in recent years, Shaolin culture has drawn attention from the local mainstream society. “A variety of cultural exchanges do not only enhance friendship between people of different cultures and different ethnic groups, but also effectively propagate Shaolin culture and traditional Chinese culture. For example, sending lucky character, making dumplings and other unique folk customs in China have been widely accepted and followed by local people.
