On the first day of the lunar first month, 2012, over 100 participants including overseas Chinese in Austria and Austrian people assembled in Austrian Shaolin Cultural Center and together celebrated the Chinese New Year with the traditional Buddhist ritual service. In the ritual offering incenses and burning candles, blessings are prayed and shared for the big Shaolin family and for Austrian and Chinese people.
