July 22, a dialogue through music was held in the Ciyun(Clouds of Lovingkindness) Hall of Shaolin Temple, to practice Buddhists' compassion & loving-kindness and promote the children’s future development. It was co-organized by Shaolin Ciyou(Lovingkindness for Children)  Orphanage and International Committee for Promotion of Youth Arts Education (UNESCO Program of Arts Education) and supported by some philanthropic artists and music education organizations in China.

 

Internationally renowned concert pianist Zhou Qinling, some twenty piano students from the International Committee for Promotion of Youth Arts Education and ninety children of Shaolin Orphanage performed piano music, Buddhist songs, music play and Kungfu shows. Their whole-hearted performance and talent shows were warmly applauded and cheered over and again by the audience. With everyone singing in chorus the Buddhist song “Heart Sutra” and absorbing in the pleasure of children's performance, the event successfully drew to a close.
