Lefo Temple in Beijing is located in Shidu World Geopark among Lefo Mountain in Fangshan, the west of Beijing. The mountain makes the temple prominent while the temple attains fame for the mountain. The temple is completed including the mountain gate, the Devajara Hall, the Mahaviro Hall, the bell tower and drum tower, monks’ dorm and others near the mountain according to the building system. Reclining Buddha Sakyamuni offered at the Mahaviro Hall is the only biggest Burmese jade Buddha statue in our country. There is a white marble statue of Bodhisattva mounted copper spangle, high 19.9 meters, standing in the square in front of the hall.
