On July 10, 2013, 27 Shaolin disciples from Russian Shaolin Damo Cultural Center successfully completed the 10-day Shaolin cultural tour in Shaolin Temple and gave a report-back performance to Ven. Abbot Yongxin.

After the performance, Ven. Abbot Yongxin gave them an instruction, “I know that everybody travelled a long distance to come to Shaolin Temple from Europe. All of you went through the tough training in the severe summer, but finally you obtain Chan pleasure and Dharma joy. Kungfu practice needs time and energy. ‘No pain, no gain’ is a universal truth that we should regard it as the guiding principle when we do anything. Kungfu practice requires the ‘six unities’ which stresses the unity between the hands and the feet, the elbows and the knees, the shoulders and the hips, the heart and the mind, the mind and the Qi, the Qi and physical strength. As long as you keep exercising, you will get a good health; as long as you make yourself down-to-earth, you will live at ease. In September, 2013, I will meet the disciples from Russia again when International Military Music Festival is held in Moscow. I also expect to meet the disciples from UK when the Second Shaolin Cultural Festival is held in UK next year.”

At last, Ven. Abbot Yongxin issued the disciples Shaolin Kungfu Cultivation Certificates with his own signature and joyfully took a group photo with them.
