The Water and Land Dharma Function of Shaolin Temple in Xiuchou Year entered the 6th day. The Eighty-eight Buddhas Repentance ceremony, offerings to Buddha and all beings or spirits from the lower world at the inner shrine while chanting sutra and repentance and dedication were conducted at the outer shrine respectively. Then Yoga yankou was put at the Great Shrine in the evening.

All benefactors gathered at the inner shrine to conduct the Eighty-eight Buddhas Repentance Ceremony at 8 am. The Eighty-eight Buddhas Repentance Ceremony is to pay tribute and respect to the eighty eight Buddhas and showed repentance, vow and dedication through reciting repentance.

Spirits or livings from the lower world were provide offerings at the inner shrine at 1 pm. Benefactors invited beings from the six realms of existence to have their seat at the shrine. Then masters consecrated dharma food and offered fine sacrifice of six sense objects to livings of the six realms of existence, making ancestors, clan relatives and all spirits enjoy fine dharma food and attain enlightenment.
