Shaolin Temple held the solemn consecration ceremony for all figures of Buddha at the Mahavira Hall of Shaolin Temple on October 9, 2023. Many lay Buddhists or believers arrived here or gathered together to enjoy the grand meeting and share Buddha’ s kindness.

On the morning, solemn honor guards welcomed masters presiding over the consecration ceremony: the Grand Monk Shi Yongxin, abbot of Shaolin Temple, master Yongqian, chief monk of Shaolin Temple, master Yongfu, court head of Shaolin Temple, master Yanci, abbot of Kong Xiang Temple in Sanmenxia, and master Jing’ en, chief monk of the Meditation Hall in Shaolin Temple.

The Grand Monk Shi Yongxin gave a dharma teaching with compassion. He said the significance of the consecration ceremony for all figures of Buddha at the Mahavira Hall in Shaolin Temple is supreme. In the future, Shaolin monks will continue practicing the merciful spirit of all Buddha and Bodhisattva, making the way solemn and orderly to establish a peaceful spiritual home for broad believers.
