Shaolin Temple’ s Lantern Festival Lamp Transmission Ceremony in Jiachen Year Held Successfully

The 15th day of the first lunar month or February 24 in 2024 is the traditional Chinese Lantern Festival. Shaolin Temple permanent residence compound is peaceful and solemn with candlelight winding. Shaolin Buddhists, under the leadership of the Grand Monk Shi Yongxin, abbot of Shaolin Temple, held lamps with colored glass shade in hands to transmit in turn that night.
